The Role: Corporate Development Intern We are seeking a versatile and highly motivated Intern to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for an exceptional student to gain direct experience at the intersection of strategy, finance, and operations within a dynamic, high-growth environment. You will work closely with our founder and experienced leadership team—who have a proven track record of scaling high-growth businesses—on a wide range of strategic initiatives.
This role is designed for a future leader who is analytically sharp but also operationally minded, eager to understand not just how to evaluate a business, but how to build and improve one.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth & Analysis: Support the evaluation of M&A and other strategic growth opportunities. This includes market research, competitive analysis, and assisting with financial modeling to build the business case for new ventures.
- Post-Merger Integration: Play an active role in supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses, working with teams to ensure a smooth transition and helping to implement strategies that unlock value.
- Cross-Functional Project Management: Take ownership of or support key internal projects across departments like sourcing, finance, and operations to enhance efficiency and drive business growth across our portfolio of brands.
- Organizational Development: Contribute to initiatives aimed at developing and scaling our organization, our processes, and our culture as we continue to grow.
- Strategic & Operational Support: Provide high-impact support to our founder and management team, from preparing board materials and investor updates to tackling ad-hoc analytical tasks that drive key decisions.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a BSc or MSc in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field at a leading university.
- A demonstrated passion for strategy, corporate development, and entrepreneurship, shown through coursework, extracurriculars, or prior internships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to move seamlessly between quantitative analysis and strategic thinking.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- A proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and a "get-it-done" attitude.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
