What we’re looking for

• You have an AI-first mindset.
• You’re an experienced builder with deep technical skills in both backend (.NET/C#) and frontend (React).
• You have led small teams or projects and want to grow into a full leadership role.
• You know how to balance hands-on coding with mentoring, architecture, and hiring.
• You’ve contributed to or maintained open-source projects.
• You want to be a foundational part of something big, from day zero.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and grow a world-class engineering team from the ground up.
• Architect and implement major parts of the Ivy platform in C# and React.
• Drive technical direction and uphold code quality and velocity.
• Collaborate directly with founders on product and strategy.
• Build an engineering culture centred on shipping, curiosity, and continuous learning.
• Take ownership of hiring: help define roles, run interviews, and bring top talent onboard.
• Design and improve onboarding processes to ensure new engineers are productive quickly.
• Contribute to open source and engage with the developer community.

Our recruitment process

1. After submitting your application, selected candidates will get an initial call from one of our founders.
2. You are given a 30-minute take-home exercise designed to test your skills in the subject matter and AI-first mindset.
3. We meet in person for interviews with our founders and key employees.
4. If possible, join us for 2-5 days of paid trial work. This will benefit both parties and allow us to see how we get along.
