The Role

As our first dedicated Product Manager, you will have a massive impact on the trajectory of our platform. You will sit at the intersection of engineering, user experience, and patent operations.

Your mission is to take Lightbringer’s ambitious vision and translate it into a world-class, intuitive B2B SaaS platform. You will work closely with the founders, talk constantly to our users (tech founders, CTOs, and patent attorneys), and collaborate daily with our engineering team to define, scope, and ship high-impact features.

What you’ll do

• Deep User Discovery: Spend time with customers to understand the deep friction points in the patent process, turning complex legal requirements into simple, delightful user journeys.
• AI Product Craftsmanship: Design user experiences around Generative AI and autonomous agents, ensuring AI-generated legal outputs are accurate, trustworthy, and seamless to interact with.
• Collaborative Delivery: Work in tandem with our Patent Automation group, comprising both legal experts and engineers, to deploy premium features rapidly within an agile framework.
• Drive Growth: Translate company vision into actionable strategic initiatives that drive business growth. Identify new opportunities, implement key growth levers, and own the outcomes from inception to success.

Who you are

• SaaS Product Experience: You have 3+ years of product management experience, ideally in a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment or a high-growth startup.
• AI Fluent: You have a strong grasp of Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt mechanics. You understand both the capabilities and UX challenges of building AI-first features.
• Master of Complexity: You can take a highly complex, regulated industry (like IP law or fintech) and break it down into clean, intuitive, and modular product features.
• Ruthless Prioritizer: You know how to say "no" to good ideas so the team can focus on the great ones.
• Exceptional Communicator: You can seamlessly bridge the gap between deeply technical developers, legal experts, and business stakeholders.
• Patent knowledge: Previous experience with or deep knowledge of the patent process is highly advantageous.
