About the role

As a Financial Crime Associate at Mynt, you’ll take hands-on, end-to-end ownership of our day-to-day KYC operations. This is an operational role at its core — you’ll be the one running processes, working through queues, and making sure cases move efficiently from intake to resolution, all while keeping us compliant, efficient, and proactive in our financial crime prevention efforts.

You’ll be part of a dedicated team where you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership, suggest improvements, and continuously develop how we work day to day. This is a hands-on and evolving role, perfect for someone who’s detail-oriented, curious, and motivated by making operational processes better each day.

Your primary focus will be KYC. You’ll also support operational work related to AML, fraud, and other financial crime prevention activities, contributing to the broader risk operations across the company. Depending on how the role develops, you may also support transaction monitoring alerts.

A natural part of the job will involve frequent customer interactions — primarily collecting and verifying KYC information and clarifying ongoing cases. Being comfortable with direct customer communication, both in writing and over the phone, is essential for succeeding in this role.

What you’ll be up to:

• Taking end-to-end operational responsibility for KYC processes, ensuring compliance with both internal routines and external regulations

• Performing customer due diligence and risk assessments as part of onboarding and ongoing monitoring

• Owning and continuously improving operational workflows, streamlining how we handle financial crime risk — especially from a KYC perspective

• Supporting first-line operational tasks related to AML, fraud, and financial crime risk, with the opportunity to grow your knowledge across all areas

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor degree in relevant fields

• You have prior experience in KYC, AML, or related compliance work

• You are analytical, detail-oriented, and structured — but also curious and eager to improve how things are done

• You’re fluent in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
