We’re excited to announce that we are opening two postdoc positions at KTH Speech, Music and Hearing (Stockholm) to push the frontier of multimodal AI!1) Postdoc in Foundation Models for Sign Language — develop large scale models for sign-language processing, based on self-supervised representation learning and large language models; use both multilingual and Swedish SL datasets (in collab with SU & SVT) for multiple down-stream tasks in (recognition, segmentation, translation, production...) [with Gustav Eje Henter and Johanna Mesch]2) Postdoc in Generative Modelling of Speech & Motion — develop probabilistic/deep generative models for integrated speech-gesture-face synthesis; experiments with large multimodal 2D/3D speech datasets & fully equipped performance-capture studio.
